Maryam Alhamar

Maryam AlHamar has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Maryam is currently serving as a Senior Vice President & COO of Wealth Management at SAB Invest since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ThriftPlan| Saudi FinTech Company as a Data processes and compliance advisor starting from December 2021.

Maryam has also held significant positions at HSBC Saudi Arabia, including Chief Operating Officer - Wealth Management from April 2022 to November 2022, Senior Manager Business Support - Retail Banking & Wealth Management from February 2020 to April 2022, and Consultant from February 2019 to February 2020.

Maryam had earlier worked as a Financial Analyst at the Ministry of Finance from February 2015 to January 2019. Maryam started their career as an Associate at EY from November 2013 to December 2014. Before that, they gained valuable experience through summer internship programs at Kuwait Finance House, where they served as a Customer Service intern and a Teller Assistant intern in 2012.

In addition to their professional experience, Maryam volunteered at the Bahrain Youth Innovation Center from 2008 to 2009. Maryam was involved in registering kids for summer programs, acting as a supervisor and time table coordinator, and organizing a successful field trip to the Bahrain national museum.

Maryam AlHamar has a diverse education history primarily focused on business and finance. In 2009 to 2012, they attended the University of Wales, where they obtained a Diploma in Banking and Finance. Following this, from 2011 to 2012, they studied at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) and earned an Advanced Diploma in Islamic Finance.

In 2013, Maryam joined Bangor University and completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Banking and Finance. Maryam then pursued further education and enrolled at Prince Sultan University from 2019 to 2021, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance.

To further enhance their knowledge and skill set, Maryam also completed additional certifications. In 2020, they undertook the BMC's Core Concepts course at Bloomberg LP and obtained a certificate. Maryam also obtained the APRM certification from PRIMA, for which the specific timeframe is not provided.

More recently, in 2022, Maryam pursued specialized education at the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship - MBSC, acquiring a certificate in the field of Business Specialty.
