Mikhail Korovkin is an experienced lighting artist currently employed at Saber Interactive since March 2016, where Mikhail progressed to the position of Senior Lighting Artist. Prior to this role, Mikhail worked at White Ball animation studio for a brief period as a Lighting Artist, focusing on animation scene lighting with tools such as Redshift, Maya, and Nuke. Mikhail's career initiated at Melnitsa animation studio from February 2013 to January 2016 as a CG artist, where responsibilities included modeling, mapping, texturing, sculpting, shading, and lighting with Renderman, along with R&D work involving Python/Pyqt applications and pipeline optimization. Mikhail's earlier experience includes a role as a 3D artist at Ascreen in 2010. Mikhail holds an education from Петровский Колледж.
