Max Steinberg

Max Steinberg is a Data Scientist at SaberSim since January 2019, where responsibilities include creating a proprietary League of Legends ELO model and developing fantasy sports projections using data cleaning, feature engineering, and Machine Learning in Python. Prior experience includes working at Sideways Gamma Group from April 2014 to December 2018, focused on developing tools and statistical models for sports betting and daily fantasy, alongside performing exploratory analytics with large data sets. Additionally, Max played professionally as a poker player from July 2008 to November 2015, formulating strategies and competing in various tournaments. Max is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Data Science at UC Santa Barbara, with previous education at the American University - Kogod School of Business and General Assembly in 2016.
