Anwar al Shammari

Anwar Al Shammari is an experienced HR executive currently serving as the Executive Director of HR Corporate Projects at SABIC since 2014. Anwar has a strong background in organizational design and effectiveness, providing strategic HR and business transformation support for major corporate initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions. Key accomplishments include leading the development of an Organizational Effectiveness framework, enhancing employee engagement strategies, and implementing programs that focus on organizational health and employee well-being. Anwar's previous roles include positions at Saudi Aramco, Standard Chartered Bank, and as an advisory board member for the Saudi HR Think Tank. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Management & HR from The London School of Economics, along with executive programs from Cambridge Judge Business School and a graduate diploma in Human Resources Management from Texas A&M University.
