Mariano Susman

Mariano Susman, Ph.D., is a Research Scientist in Catalysis at SABIC, specializing in the development of heterogeneous catalysts for gas-to-chemical conversions since December 2022. Previously, Mariano served as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Houston, focusing on the rational design of metal oxide heterogeneous catalysts in collaboration with SABIC Global Technologies. Earlier experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Student at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where research centered on copper-based nanostructures, and as a Quality Control Analyst at Pfizer, conducting analyses under GMP, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 standards. Mariano's academic background includes a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences from the Weizmann Institute and a Licentiate in Chemical Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires.
