Jay Triano

Jay Triano is the current assistant coach of the Sacramento Kings. Jay was previously the assistant coach of the Charlotte Hornets from June 2018 to August 2022. Jay was also the interim head coach of the Phoenix Suns from October 2017 to May 2018. Prior to that, they were the assistant coach of the Portland Trail Blazers from September 2012 to May 2016. Jay started their NBA career as the vice president of pro scouting for the Toronto Raptors from November 2008 to August 2012.

Jay Triano has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Simon Fraser University. Jay also has a PDP in Business Administration from the same school. Jay was awarded an Honourary Doctor of Laws from the University of Calgary in 2016.

Jay Triano reports to Mike Brown, Head Coach. They are on a team with Sagaar Sarin - Director, Pro Personnel, Jordi Fernandez - Associate Head Coach, and Leandro Barbosa - Assistant Coach.
