Gonzalo Beltran

Gonzalo Beltran was appointed Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering (M&E) for the Sadara Chemical Company in January 2022, bringing with him three and a half decades of professional and leadership experience since joining The Dow Chemical Company.

Over his career he has held a variety of technical and leadership positions, including joining the Ras Tanura Integrated Project (RTIP) as Operations leader and later as the Chemicals Envelope director, which included Ethylene Oxide, Propylene Oxide and all derivatives assets in Sadara. Gonzalo also served as Alberta Operations site director and vice president of Dow Canada ULC, prior to joining EQUATE Petrochemicals Company as global vice president of Operations.

Gonzalo has a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Colombia, and an MBA in Finance from Universidad EAFIT, Colombia. He has also attended executive education programs at Universidad de los Andes, Colombia, and Babson College, U.S.
