Carlos G. Rosario

Assistant Director at Safe Horizon

Carlos G. Rosario currently serves as the Assistant Director at Safe Horizon and as the House Manager at BAAD! The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance. Previously, Carlos held the position of Health Justice Organizer at FIERCE, leading initiatives for LGBTQ youth of color and focusing on issues such as housing and the school-to-prison pipeline. Carlos has also worked as a Health Justice Organizer for the Northwest Bronx Community & Clergy Coalition, where significant contributions included mobilizing workshops on social determinants of health. Additional roles include coordinating advocacy efforts at BOOM!Health and serving as the Bronx Chair of the Hepatitis C Task Force Network with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Carlos received recognition as a Leader of Tomorrow Award Honoree from Latinos Unidos and has been certified by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association.
