Izzy Stein

Izzy Stein is currently a Project Coordinator at Safe & Reliable Healthcare. Prior to this, they worked as an Analyst at Claro Healthcare, LLC from July 2019 to July 2021. There, they identified areas of opportunity and provided customized recommendations to clients on documentation and process improvement based on industry best practices. They also worked closely with client contacts to implement and support recommended solutions, and created tools to streamline delivery of findings and services to clients. Additionally, they planned and organized team travel to client sites and supported on-site activities.

Before working at Claro Healthcare, LLC, Izzy Stein was a Population Health Intern at Holy Cross Health from May 2018 to July 2018. There, they researched and presented recommendations for alternative pharmaceutical supply solutions to be able to provide free medications to 100% of Health Center patients. They also assisted in writing, distributing, and analyzing the results of a Social Determinants of Health survey to better understand Health Center patients' non-medical health factors and risks. Additionally, they created a referential database for community-based specialists who provide low-cost or free care to uninsured patients. Finally, they analyzed employee engagement survey data to determine potential areas of internal improvement.

Izzy Stein's educational career began with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and French from Indiana University Bloomington. Izzy then went on to get a General Education Degree in Psychology and Statistics from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. After that, they studied abroad at IES Abroad twice. Finally, they got certified as a Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) from HFMA and as a CPR/AED instructor from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association.
