SafeAI is seeking a Site Deployment Lead to provide a high level of customer site-based support for our autonomy system, ensuring our on-site teams are operating safely and effectively, and be committed to continuously improving the capabilities of autonomous haul trucks and other technologies on operating mine sites. 

The role is for an 8-6 FIFO roster from Perth. 

Responsibilities ·       Supervise, guide and lead diverse, multi-skilled teams  ·       Mentor, guide and lead transformational change  ·       Conduct daily prestart meetings to include test plans & safe working procedures  ·       Ensure all safety systems & procedures are followed  ·       Create, follow & participate in the Job Safety Analysis process  ·       Facilitate peer review of site documents prior to submission to customers & stakeholders  ·       Troubleshooting and repair of autonomy hardware installed to vehicles and machinery in the field  ·       In-field calibration of on-board sensors and components such as  ·       GPS, cameras, LiDAR, radar and communications systems such as LTE  ·       First point of contact for advice on operational technology  ·       First point of contact for technology software installation, configuration and troubleshooting  ·       Configuration of key system parameters based on the attributes of physical machinery  ·       Ability to coach and mentor staff in Mobile Mining Equipment in testing environments  ·       Reporting and updating product tracking systems adhering to agile product management and development techniques  ·       Creating and participating in autonomous test procedures  ·       Guide staff and customers in dispatching for autonomous operations  ·       Follow instructions safely, closely and accurately  ·       Participate and prepare Change Management documentation for review    Qualifications ·       Qualifications/Trade Certificate “but not limited too” – Mechanical, Electrical (Plant Mechanics, Diesel Fitters, HD Fitters, Auto Electricians, HV Electrician, Advanced Diploma in Electronics)  ·       Sound knowledge of mining machinery and maintenance. Rigid haul trucks is particularly desirable  ·       Attention to detail  ·       Demonstrate the ability to monitor high quality hardware installations and wiring implementations  ·       Hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills is desirable  ·       Demonstrated understanding of schematic diagrams / fault analysis  ·       Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment whilst remaining focused on clear and safe operations  ·       Ability to build strong internal and customer relationships  ·       Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills  ·       Highly safety-focused at all times and to take a personal responsibility for the safety of others  ·       Ability to operate Mobile Mining Equipment in testing environments  ·       Understanding of GPS, RTK, Camera, LiDAR, Radar  ·       Understanding of communication networks - LTE & mesh networks  ·       Understanding of CAN networks and fault finding  ·       Understanding of mining dispatching systems or fleet management systems  ·       Ability to work collaboratively
