Connor Reuss, PE has a diverse work experience background. Connor began their professional career as a student worker supervisor at Jenny Craig Pavilion, where they managed and trained fellow employees, ensuring the safety of patrons and operating audio/visual equipment for University of San Diego athletic events. Connor then worked as an operations and events employee at the Institute of Peace and Justice, where they operated and managed audio/visual equipment, set up banquet halls for events, and developed an accounting spreadsheet for phone operations. Connor also gained experience at MICHAEL BORRELLI DESIGN INC as a fabrication/engineer intern. At SAFEbuilt, they held multiple roles, including mechanical plan examining intern, mechanical & fire plans examining engineer, and senior mechanical & fire plan examining engineer. Currently, they are working as a mechanical engineer II at Coffman Engineers.
Connor Reuss, PE has a strong educational background in engineering and mathematics. Connor attended the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Before that, from 2012 to 2013, they attended the United States Air Force Academy, specifically the Air Force Academy Prep School, focusing on math and science. Prior to their higher education, they completed their high school education at Horizon Christian Academy from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, Connor Reuss obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the NCEES in February 2021.
