Cian O Flaherty

Cian O Flaherty has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Cian started their career as a Researcher/Intern at TASC, a think-tank for action and social change. During their time there, they contributed to the "Audit of Irish Democracy" report and conducted research on party systems, media, and immigration.

Cian then worked as a Researcher/Presenter for the current affairs show "Inside Out" on Dublin City FM. Cian also collaborated with the program's podcast available on Irishelection.com.

After that, Cian joined Radio Ireland T/A Today FM as a Researcher for "The Last Word with Matt Cooper." Their responsibilities included contributing to the day's program by assembling various segments.

In 2010, Cian transitioned to a new role as the Managing Director of Frontline LED Ltd. Cian held this position for nearly a decade until 2019, overseeing the company's operations and growth.

Currently, Cian serves as the CEO of Safecility, the first product from The Convex Lens. In this role, they manage the development and growth of an online building compliance tool. Cian focuses on assisting estate managers in simplifying the process of adhering to life safety regulations through innovative online tools, dashboards, and task management.

Cian O Flaherty pursued their undergraduate education at University College Dublin from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Philosophy. Following that, they furthered their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Politics (Theory) from 2007 to 2008. In terms of additional certifications, Cian O Flaherty obtained a CPM (Certified Product Manager) certification from AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management in February 2017. Cian also obtained a membership certification from the same institution in November 2016.
