John Wandell

John Wandell, CFI has extensive work experience in the field of security and asset protection. John currently holds the position of Director of Security at Safelite since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked at The Walt Disney Company as Senior Manager, Asset Protection & Risk North America from July 2022 to November 2023.

Before joining The Walt Disney Company, John held various roles at Bath & Body Works, including Director, Field Asset Protection from September 2021 to July 2022, Sr. Manager, Field Asset Protection from August 2018 to September 2021, and Regional Asset Protection Manager from August 2015 to August 2018.

John'searlier experience includes working at Old Navy as a Regional Loss Prevention Manager from May 2014 to August 2015 and Market Loss Prevention Manager from June 2011 to May 2014. John also served as a Loss Prevention Agent at Old Navy from October 2007 to June 2011.

John started their career at Kmart as a Loss Prevention Supervisor from April 2007 to October 2007. Prior to that, they worked as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland from February 2006 to March 2007 and as a Deputy Sheriff at St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office from 2002 to 2005.

John also has experience in the military, having served as a Crew Chief on KC-135 at the Ohio Air National Guard from 1999 to 2002.

John Wandell, CFI, attended Bowling Green State University in 2001-2002, where they studied Pre-Law. In 2000, they completed a degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General from Air Force Technical School. Prior to that, they obtained a diploma from Valley Forge High School in 1999. John also holds a Federal Law Enforcement Certification from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and a Law Enforcement Certification from Indian River Academy, both in the field of Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting, and Related Protective Services. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) from the International Association of Interviewers in 2015, and Interview and Interrogation Certification from Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates in 2011. In 2023, John Wandell became a LPF Member of The Loss Prevention Foundation.
