Jake Hammock

Jake Hammock has a wide range of work experience in various fields. Currently, they serve as the Chief Technology and Research Officer at SafeMoon since March 2022. Previously, Jake founded and led Selu Technologies as the Founder & CEO, where they focused on renewable energy and clean-water generation technologies. Jake also served as a Board Member at Salt Lake Chamber from April 2021 to April 2022.

In terms of cybersecurity and technology, Jake held the role of Vice President of Security and Director of Trust at NICE inContact from September 2018 to April 2021. During their time there, they led cybersecurity development and operations for global telecommunications and SaaS applications. Jake achieved data privacy compliance audits for various standards such as PCI-DSS, FedRAMP, SOC 2 Type 2 + HITRUST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA.

Prior to their master's degree, Jake completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration, with a concentration in Homeland Security, at Middle Tennessee State University. Jake studied there from 2007 to 2010.

Jake attended The American University in Cairo in 2009 and 2010, focusing on Middle East and Islamic Studies as well as Hydroelectric Engineering.
