Nicole Lee has a diverse work experience in the field of research and safety. Nicole worked as a Consulting Safety Officer II at Safety Partners, Inc. starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were employed at Harvard Medical School, where they held multiple roles. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Research Assistant I, assisting in the establishment and management of the gnotobiotic colony and contributing to research projects on the gut microbiome. From 2022 to 2023, they served as a Research Specialist, involved in the relocation and transition of the gnotobiotic core facility. Before their time at Harvard Medical School, they worked at Drexel University as a Research Assistant and Research Assistant Intern in 2016. Additionally, they gained experience as a Research Intern at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2015, where they contributed to staining and counting cells in human and mouse tissue and participated in surgical studies involving diabetic mice.

Nicole Lee completed their Bachelor's Degree from Drexel University between the years 2012 and 2017. Nicole majored in Biology/Biological Sciences with a concentration in Cells, Genetics, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology.
