Jaemin Powell

Jaemin Powell is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in systems and applications engineering. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Safran Federal Systems since July 2020, Jaemin has progressed through roles that include Applications Engineer Supervisor and Applications Engineer. Prior experience includes a position as Systems Engineer at Collins Aerospace from January 2018 to July 2020 and a Graduate Research Assistant role at The University of Iowa from June 2016 to December 2017. Additional experience includes participation in a MoSAIc REU program at Iowa State University and an internship at CIVCO Medical Solutions. Jaemin holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Central College, complemented by a high school diploma from Mid-Prairie High School.
