Roberto Carlos Matos

Roberto Carlos Matos is an experienced professional with a robust background in strategic purchasing and contract negotiation, currently serving as Manager of Strategic Purchasing at Safran since May 2016, previously holding the position of Commodity Manager. Prior to Safran, Roberto worked at Honeywell Aerospace from March 2008 to May 2016, where roles included Sr. Negotiations Supervisor and Specialist Sr. Commodity, overseeing contract support teams and developing negotiation strategies on a global scale. Roberto's early career included service in the U.S. Marine Corps from July 2001 to September 2007 as a Marine Embassy Guard and Avionics Maintenance Section Leader, where responsibilities included providing armed security for U.S. embassies in various countries. Roberto holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from American InterContinental University.
