Shanoob B

Shanoob B is currently serving as an Assistant Principal Metallurgist at Safran since July 2025. Prior experience includes a role as Materials Lead at Alloyed, where Shanoob B focused on technical project management and titanium alloys for aerospace applications, collaborating with NTT DATA XAM in Japan. As a Senior Materials Engineer, Shanoob B specialized in novel alloy design and technical consultancy. Previous positions include Deputy Group Leader at Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung, conducting R&D on materials physics, and a Post Doctoral Associate at Michigan State University, focusing on titanium alloys' deformation behavior. Shanoob B holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science and a B Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur.
