James Mayfield

James Mayfield is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in quality assurance and project management within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as a Senior Project Quality Engineer at Saft since April 2014, James focuses on lithium-ion battery development for advanced technology applications. Prior to this role, James contributed to Sun Products Corporation in various capacities, including QA Capability and Plant Hygienist / QA Micro Manager, where significant responsibilities included QA investigations and customer complaint interactions. James's earlier experience includes a tenure at Becton Dickinson as Production Manager and Senior Process Engineer, overseeing large-scale production and quality processes, and as Technologist III at Scott Laboratories. James holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Towson University and has a foundational education from North Texas State University.
