Shichao Ou

Shichao "Owen" Ou is an experienced Systems Design Manager at Saft, where tenure began in September 2012. In this role, Shichao manages a cell development and design team focused on generating substantial revenue through innovative cell product strategies for defense, space, and high-performance racing markets, contributing to over $50 million in annual revenue. Previous positions at Saft include Cell Design Manager and Cell Development & Design Lead, where Shichao led successful product developments and secured multi-million dollar contracts. Prior to Saft, Shichao worked as a Vehicle Simulation Programmer at Genovation Cars and as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland College Park. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
