Asia Johnson

Asia Johnson is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Programs at Saga Education since July 2020 and the Associate Director of Programs at PENCIL, Inc. since November 2019. Previous roles include Site Director and Math Fellow at Saga Education from April 2015 to November 2019, and STEM Lead Teacher at Engineering For Kids from January 2015 to June 2016. Asia began a career in sales as a Lead Sales Associate at Gap from October 2009 to May 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership Politics Advocacy, Urban Education and Leadership from NYU Steinhardt School, earned between 2016 and 2018, and a Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education from The College of Saint Rose, completed in 2014.
