Mark Kruger

Mark Kruger has an extensive work experience in design and creative roles. Mark is currently working as the Vice President of Design at Saga Education since October 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Design and UX at Woot Tutor from July 2019 to October 2020 and at Woot Math from June 2016 to October 2020. Before entering the education sector, Mark was the Creative Director at Make, l.l.c. where they focused on media experiences for corporate clients from 2000 to 2016. Mark also held the position of Creative Director at Disney Interactive Media Group from August 2011 to September 2013, leading the Boulder office and handling creativity-based mobile app development. In addition, Mark served as the VP of Creative Services at MGM Consumer Products from 1998 to 1999 and as an Art Director at Figure 1 from 1996 to 1997. Their early experience includes working as a Designer at Hodgetts + Fung on various Disney location-based entertainment projects. Overall, Mark has a diverse background in design, UX, and creative leadership roles across different industries.

Mark Kruger attended Stanford University from 1981 to 1985, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art. Mark then pursued further education at UCLA from 1991 to 1994 and obtained a Master's degree in Architecture. In addition to their formal education, Mark Kruger also obtained a certification in Equitable Product Design from LinkedIn in 2022.
