Alexis L.

Alexis L. has worked in a variety of roles since 2001. Alexis began their career as an Intern in Marketing / Brand Management at Procter & Gamble. Alexis then worked as a Paralegal at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from 2004 to 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Project Manager at skyn ICELAND. Alexis then worked as an Agency Operations Manager at Laura Davidson Public Relations from 2010 to 2015. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Brighton Science as the Human Resources & Business Operations Manager. Most recently, from 2021 to present, Alexis L. has held the roles of Vice President, People & Culture + Systems and Director, People + Culture at SagaCity Media, Portland Monthly, Seattle Met, and Sarasota Magazine. Additionally, they held the role of Interim Executive in Charge of Operations at Houstonia Magazine.

Alexis L. attended Barnard College from 1999 to 2003, where they studied English. Alexis also obtained a SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in February 2022.
