Safet Palamar

Safet Palamar has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Safet currently works as a DMPK Informatics Analyst at Sage Therapeutics since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Novartis as a Principal Scientist (Investigator ll) from January 2014 to January 2020 and as a Sr. Scientist from August 2010 to January 2014. Before Novartis, they were a Scientist at Merck from June 2009 to August 2010. Safet also worked at Arena Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Research Associate from October 2007 to June 2009 and as a Research Associate III from January 2005 to October 2007. Safet Palamar started their career at Pharma Medica Research Inc. as a Bioanalytical Analyst from 2004 to 2005, and at Purdue Pharma as a Research Associate from 2000 to 2002.

Safet Palamar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester between 1994 and 1999. In 2017, they went on to pursue a Certificate in Project Management from Rutgers Business School, which they completed in 2019. Safet also obtained a Certificate in Drug Discovery and Development from UC San Diego in 2007.
