Sara Boattini

Sara Boattini has a diverse range of work experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. Sara is currently working at Sage Therapeutics as an Associate Director, Clinical Operations & Development, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Sr. Clinical Trial Manager from February 2021 to October 2021.

Before joining Arena Pharmaceuticals, Sara worked at Syneos Health Clinical Solutions in various roles. Sara was a Project Manager from September 2020 to February 2021 and had previously served as Clinical Operations Lead (NA Project Lead) and Clinical Operations Lead (Vendor Project Manager). Sara also held positions as Clinical Operations Lead, Strategic Resourcing and Sr. Clinical Research Associate II, Strategic Resourcing at Pearl Therapeutics. Sara began their tenure at Syneos Health Clinical Solutions as a Clinical Team Leader in December 2013.

Earlier in their career, Sara worked as a Clinical Study Manager at Ansun Biopharma, Inc. from October 2012 to November 2013. Sara was also a Prompt Monitor - Clinical Research Associate at Kforce Inc, working on a Pfizer project, from March 2012 to October 2012. Prior to that, they served as a Clinical Research Site Manager for Pfizer at Kforce Inc from April 2007 to May 2010.

Sara's experience in the field started at PPD, where they worked as a Clinical Research Associate I-II (Lead Clinical Research Associate) from February 2005 to April 2007. Sara began their career as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at I-Flow Corporation from April 2004 to January 2005. Sara'sfirst role in the industry was as a Clinical Research Coordinator at UCSD AntiViral Research Center from August 2001 to April 2004.

Sara Boattini obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics from UC San Diego from 2001 to 2003. In April 2021, they completed a certification in "Avoiding Burnout" from LinkedIn.
