Shana Petriello Hoffman Mph

Shana Petriello Hoffman, MPH has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Shana is currently working at Sage Therapeutics as an Associate Director, focusing on leadership, organizational development, and growth. Prior to their current role, they worked at Sanofi as an Associate Director, responsible for commercial learning. In addition, they held the position of Senior Manager, overseeing patient support services and serving as the interim REMS Project Manager at Sanofi. Before joining Sanofi, Shana worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where they served as a Case Manager and interim CRM Manager. Shana also held the role of Associate Case Manager, specializing in patient services at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Earlier in their career, Shana worked at the University of Massachusetts Amherst as a Graduate Teaching Associate and Research Apprentice. Shana also had a brief stint at MGH Aspire as an Administrative Coordinator for their summer program. Shana's work experience began at mra, where they held roles in Health Information Management and Marketing Assistance.

Shana obtained their Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Instructional Design from Northcentral University, completing their studies from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from UMass Amherst School of Public Health & Health Sciences between 2012 and 2014.

Shana also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Health, Biology, and Communication from Curry College, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. To complete their academic foundation, they received a High School Diploma from Blackstone Millville Regional High School in 2008.

Furthermore, Shana has demonstrated their commitment to professional development by obtaining two additional certifications. Shana earned the Associate Professional in Talent Development certification from ATD CI - The ATD Certification Institute in May 2022. Additionally, they are a Certified Health Education Specialist, having received this certification from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc in April 2014.
