Surekha Bansal (Agarwal)

Surekha Bansal (Agarwal) has a diverse work experience in research informatics and software development. Surekha started their career as a Research Intern at the National Chemical Laboratory where they conducted Molecular Dynamics Simulation studies for structure prediction of pleckstrin. At Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, Surekha worked in various roles including Junior Software Analyst Programmer, Senior Software Developer, and Principal Analyst. Surekha then joined Sage Therapeutics as a Business System Analyst and later became a Senior Business System Analyst, Manager of Research Informatics platforms, and currently holds the role of Senior Manager. Throughout their career, Surekha has demonstrated skills in improving efficiency through creating web-based applications, accelerating report generation, and expediting querying time.

Surekha Bansal (Agarwal) completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Bioinformatics from Dr. D. Y. Patil University in Pune, India from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from Northeastern University from 2010 to 2012.
