Director Of Alliance Management at Sage Therapeutics

Tiffany Adams has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Tiffany currently holds the position of Director of Alliance Management at Sage Therapeutics, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Program Management at Gemini Therapeutics from June 2021 to March 2022.

In their previous role at NOVAVAX INC, from July 2020 to May 2021, Tiffany served as a Senior Program Manager and GPM Alliance Lead. Tiffany was responsible for coordinating the development and manufacturing transfer of the COVID-19 program to alliance partners, as well as ensuring the successful engineering, PPQ, and commercialization of the NVX-CoV2373 vaccine. Tiffany also played a key role in coordinating the activities with alliance partners for the Phase 1/2 clinical trial of the COVID-19 program in Japan.

Before NOVAVAX INC, Tiffany worked as a Program/Project Manager III at ABL Inc. from March 2019 to July 2020. Their responsibilities included overseeing process development and cGMP production projects for vaccines and biologics, administering outsourced and in-house projects, and managing subcontractors.

From 2016 to 2019, Tiffany held the position of Staff Program Manager/Sr. Program Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Tiffany provided leadership and strategy for global cross-functional programs, implemented new products for distribution worldwide, and collaborated with finance and other functional areas to align goals and track financial performance.

Prior to Thermo Fisher Scientific, Tiffany worked at QIAGEN from 2004 to 2016, where they held multiple roles. As a Sr. Operational Product Manager, they provided leadership and project management for IVD programs, successfully leading the transfer of the AmniSure ROM test post-acquisition and managing product changes. Tiffany also served as a Sr. QC Chemist, overseeing projects related to inventory management and implementation of analytical testing systems. In addition, they worked as a Quality Control Analyst in Bioanalytical Process and Development, auditing batch records and maintaining QC reporting systems.

Tiffany's early career involved research work at NIH from 2001 to 2002, where they investigated the trafficking and processing of proinsulin in pancreatic beta cells and focused on minority health disparities through research and social awareness programs.

Tiffany Adams has an extensive education history. Tiffany first attended Virginia Union University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. After that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology at Georgetown University from 2003 to 2005. Tiffany furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School from 2006 to 2009, specializing in Life Sciences. In addition to their formal degrees, Tiffany has also obtained various certifications in areas such as project management, quality systems, laboratory compliance, and medical devices, from institutions such as the Project Management Institute, S2 Insights Training, Oriel STAT A MATRIX, Boston University, PTI International, Institute of Validation Technology & Advanstar Communication, and SkillPath.
