Irana Wasti

Independent non-executive director at Sage

Irana Wasti is an experienced technology executive who is currently serving as an independent non-executive director at Sage. Irana has previously held leadership positions at Typeform, GoDaddy, Intuit, and IBM.

Wasti began their career at IBM in 2003, where they worked in operations management before moving into product and development management. In 2009, they left IBM for Google, where they spent a brief stint as a general manager intern before returning to IBM.

At IBM, Wasti was responsible for leading the development of the company's mobile point-of-sale product. In 2010, they left IBM to join Intuit as head of product management for its payments division.

At Intuit, Wasti oversaw the development and launch of the company's mobile point-of-sale product. Irana also led Intuit's expansion into Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In 2013, they left Intuit to join GoDaddy as president of its EMEA region.

At GoDaddy, Wasti helped individuals and small businesses transform their ideas into reality across the diverse EMEA region. In 2020, they left GoDaddy to join Sage as a board member.

Irina Wasti has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a Business Minor from the University of California, Berkeley.
