Michael Grigorian is a Summer Research Fellow at the Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies, working on research for Alternatives to Global Development. Michael is also an Equity Research Analyst at Sagehen Capital Management and a Staff Writer at the Claremont Journal of Law and Public Policy. Previously, Michael was an Accounting Intern at Grigorian & Associates, Inc. Michael is currently pursuing their degree at Claremont McKenna College, after completing a French Baccalaureate in Economics and Maths at LYCEE INTERNATIONAL DE LOS ANGELES.

Sagehen Capital Management
Founded in 2001, Sagehen Capital Management ("SCM") is a student-run hedge fund located at Pomona College. Open to all students at the Claremont Consortium, SCM provides an engaging environment for students to learn about investing through a hands-on approach. Today, SCM manages approximately $1 million of Pomona College's endowment with a value-oriented philosophy. Students receive weekly lessons on topics including valuation, portfolio management, and trading strategies. On occasion, the club hosts alumni, professors, or friends of the college to speak about their experiences in finance. The organizational structure includes Analysts, Senior Analysts, Fund Managers, and Executive Fund Manager(s).
