Mary-Jo Hewat

Mary-Jo Hewat, CHRE, C.Dir. has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources. Mary-Jo started their career at TD in 1994, where they held a role in Human Resources until 1997. Mary-Jo then worked as a Consultant at Ray & Berndston / Lovas Stanley from 1998 to 2000. Mary-Jo joined Deloitte in 2000, where they focused on HR recruitment and also supported the Global Managing Partner for International Assignment Services. From 2003 to 2008, they worked at Hudson's Bay Company in various roles related to recruitment, facilitation, and HR. After that, Mary-Jo joined Sherritt International as Director of Human Resources, overseeing projects and leading organizational development efforts. Mary-Jo also holds an MBA in Strategic Management and Organizational Development from the Schulich School of Business - York University, earned from 1995 to 2000. Additionally, they have a B.Comm in Human Resources Management and Services from Ryerson University, completed from 1990 to 1994.
