Rakesh Dhote

Rakesh Dhote, Ph.D., has an extensive work experience in various roles related to data science, model risk management, and engineering. Rakesh has worked as a Director of Model Risk and Governance at Sagen, where they provided technical approvals for critical models and developed machine learning models for loan identification. At Genworth Canada, they served as a Director of Model Risk and Governance and developed a robust model risk management framework. Rakesh also worked as a Data Scientist at LoyaltyOne, where they developed machine learning solutions for customer engagement and campaign effectiveness measurement. Rakesh Dhote has also held positions at Scotiabank as a Data Scientist specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning, and at the University of Toronto as a Post Doctoral Fellow focusing on research proposals and grants. Additionally, they have engineering experience at Eaton Corporation, Tata Consultancy Services, and Larsen & Toubro Limited, where they worked on the design, analysis, and optimization of various systems and components.

Rakesh Dhote, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computational Material Science (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Toronto, which they completed from 2009 to 2014.
