Chris Dees

Chris Dees has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Chris started their career in the US Navy, where they served as a Nuclear Propulsion Plant Supervisor and later took on additional responsibilities as an Instructor. Following their time in the Navy, Chris worked at Avista Hospital Inc as a Plant Engineer/Electrician, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and electromechanical systems.

In 2001, Chris joined IHS Markit as a Network Engineer and Project Coordinator, where they played a crucial role in designing and implementing network infrastructure expansions across multiple data centers. During their tenure, they ensured reliable and secure networking for thousands of endpoints and large-scale storage systems.

From 2013 to 2017, Chris worked as the Managing Director and Artisan at Stout Gear Knives. In this role, they were responsible for developing processes and procuring materials for the production of premium cutlery. Chris also established partnerships with local stores and served numerous satisfied customers worldwide.

Prior to joining SageNet in 2018 as a Senior Project Manager in the PMO, Chris owned and operated Jobb Dunn LLC. As the Owner and Carpenter, they led a significant project involving the research, design, and project management of a farming neighborhood. This undertaking included designing and constructing two new homes, managing utility provisioning, and implementing land management operations.

Chris Dees attended the University of Phoenix from 1998 to 1999, where they earned an A.A.S degree in Liberal Arts with a specialization in Nuclear Engineering Technology. In addition to their degree, Chris also obtained several certifications throughout their career, including ITIL v3.0 Foundation in December 2012, Cisco CCNA in September 2002, Microsoft MCSE in April 2000, and Microsoft MCP in March 2000.
