Daniel McNally has a diverse work experience history. Daniel started their career in 2008 as a Mechanized Platoon Leader in the US Army, where they led ground missions and managed a joint checkpoint in Iraq. Daniel then served as a Company Executive Officer, overseeing supply and logistical support for a mechanized infantry company. Later, they became a Rifle Platoon Leader, responsible for military honors and ceremonies in the National Capital Region.
In 2014, Daniel transitioned to the private sector and joined Pace Harmon as a Consultant, where they provided strategy and integration support to global private equity and Fortune 500 clients. Their focus was on creating value through sustainable solutions and establishing metrics for monitoring success.
In 2016, Daniel moved to Rios Partners as a Consultant and continued providing strategic support to clients until 2019. Daniel then joined West Monroe as a Consultant, where they worked closely with global private equity and Fortune 500 clients across various industries such as technology, manufacturing, CPG, and healthcare. Their responsibilities included operational due diligence, financial management, and integration management.
Most recently, Daniel joined Sagent in 2022 as VP, Business Transformation. In this role, they spearheaded post-merger integration efforts and managed technology migration, personnel, contracts, and finance for a technology asset purchase. Daniel also established the company's first office abroad in India and oversaw its operations. Additionally, they led diligence efforts for a target founder-led technology company.
Throughout their career, Daniel has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive value creation and sustainable solutions for clients in both the public and private sectors.
Daniel McNally has a strong education background in business and engineering. Daniel earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, specializing in Strategic Management, from 2014 to 2016. Prior to pursuing their MBA, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point from 2004 to 2008.
In addition to their formal education, Daniel has also obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills. Daniel completed a certification in Mergers and Acquisitions from Columbia Business School in November 2022. Furthermore, they earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2017. These additional certifications demonstrate their dedication to expanding their knowledge and expertise in relevant areas of their field.
