Andy Miller has had a diverse range of work experience in the field of controls and project engineering. Andy started their career as a Project Engineer at MSC Automation in 1994. Andy then worked as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Corning, Inc. from 1999 to 2002, where they successfully managed a multi-million dollar equipment project. In 2002, Miller transitioned to the role of Controls Engineer at ARCADIS for a brief period before joining Solara Solutions as a Project Engineer. At Solara Solutions, they were responsible for coordinating the build and debug of automated machines. In 2004, Miller moved to ENG Engineering, where they served as a Project Engineer and primary customer interface. Andy facilitated the installation of various control systems for different facilities projects. In 2007, Miller joined Novo Nordisk as a Systems Engineer, where they managed and validated upgrades on high-speed packaging lines. Andy also played a role in the design and implementation of a compliant BMS upgrade. Miller continued their career at Fresenius Kabi in 2011 as a Senior Controls Engineer, overseeing the management of process and building controls systems. Andy then moved to Xellia Pharmaceuticals in 2014, where they held the same position and took on additional responsibilities following the acquisition of Fresenius Kabi. Most recently, in 2020, Miller joined Sagent Pharmaceuticals as a Principal Controls and Project Engineer. Throughout their career, Miller has demonstrated strong technical expertise and project management skills.
Andy Miller attended Barrington High School from 1986 to 1990. After completing high school, they enrolled at Purdue University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1990 to 1994. In January 2004, Andy Miller also obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering and Control Systems from the NC Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors.
