David Wright

David Wright has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. David started their career in 2005 as a Hotel Manager at The Jolly Taxpayer Hotel and Pub, where they implemented new reservation and room management systems that led to an 84% increase in occupancy within two months. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as an Investor Relations professional at Amanta Resources Ltd, where they were responsible for writing shareholder reports, press releases, and planning field operations.

In 2012, David joined Vision Critical as a Quotations Coordinator, managing sample requests and proposals for quantitative and qualitative studies. David later became a Quotations Manager, where they developed and maintained partner relationships in the EMEA region and played a key role in expanding the business unit's reach in the media and PR industries. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Panel Recruitment Manager, responsible for creating, executing, and analyzing online recruitment campaigns and managing Maru/Matchbox's partner network.

In 2016, David joined Maru/Blue as a Panel Recruitment Manager, where they continued to oversee the strategic execution of member recruitment campaigns and grow the company's partner network. David later became the Director of Quotations and Recruitment, where they played a crucial role in growing Maru's global partner network and enhancing lead generation capabilities. Prior to leaving Maru/Blue in 2022, they held the position of Manager, Member Recruitment and Quotations, managing incoming sample and recruitment procurement requests for the UK and EMEA region.

Currently, David works at Sago as the Senior Director of Panel Recruitment & Social Media and will transition to the role of VP, Panel Acquisitions in 2023.

David Wright has an educational background that includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. David attended this institution from 2010 to 2012. Prior to this, David attended Capilano University from 2008 to 2010, where they pursued a Commerce Transfer program with a focus on Business/Commerce, General.
