Amrita Sengupta

Amrita Sengupta is a Biocurator at Velsera since June 2022, where the focus is on connecting healthcare and life sciences to enhance precision medicine. Additionally, Amrita serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Fellow at the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics since January 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a Biocurator at Pierian from June 2022 to January 2023 and as a researcher at the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics from August 2013 to March 2018, culminating in a Ph.D. in Epigenetics and Chromatin Biology from the same institution. Amrita holds a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology from the University of Kalyani and has completed high school education at Kendriya Vidyalaya. Expertise encompasses cancer biology, epigenetics, and various molecular biology techniques.
