Amit Sobti

Mr. Amit Sobti joined the Sahyadri Board on 31st October 2022.

Mr. Sobti joined Private Capital division of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan in 2016 and is part of the senior team responsible for direct and co-investing activities across the Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to joining Ontario Teachers’, Mr. Sobti had more than 15 years of experience in private equity and investment banking, most recently as a principal at Unitas Capital in Hong Kong. He was previously a principal in the healthcare group at Warburg Pincus in New York, prior to which he worked at Rhone Capital and in the M&A group at Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Sobti holds a dual A.B. (magna cum laude) in Business Economics and Computer Science from Brown University.
