Debarupa Banerjee

Debarupa Banerjee currently serves as a Senior Manager in Project Management at Sai Life Sciences Ltd, with a progression from Associate Research Scientist and Manager in the same field since June 2021. Prior to this role, Debarupa was employed at Syngene International Limited from August 2017 to May 2021 as an Associate Scientist, focusing on the development and validation of assays for GPCR-based studies and the implementation of electronic lab notebooks. Previous experience includes an Associate Scientist position at Lupin Pharmaceuticals, where Debarupa contributed to the development and automation of biochemical assays, and a Research Associate role at Piramal Discovery Solutions, specializing in physico-chemical studies of new chemical entities. Debarupa began a career in research as a Junior Research Fellow at the West Bengal Department of Science and Technology, working on plant tissue culture and disease resistance. Debarupa holds a Master’s degree in Microbiology from Lady Brabourne College (University of Calcutta) and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Dinabandhu Andrews College.
