Duncan Poehner

Duncan Poehner is a skilled Boiler Sales Engineer at Stoermer-Anderson, Inc. since January 2023 and a Search and Rescue Crew Member for Boone County Water Rescue since August 2023, contributing to a dedicated team that supports governmental agencies. As the Membership and Recruiting Chair for the SW Ohio Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers since June 2021, Duncan focuses on enhancing member participation and organizing events. Prior experience includes serving as a Utility Engineer at the University of Cincinnati during a three-year co-op while pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree, working as a Manufacturing Process Engineer at St. Bernard Soap Company, and excelling in the US Navy as a Nuclear Plant Maintenance Manager and a Nuclear Power Plant Operator. Duncan Poehner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and completed training at the Nuclear Power School.
