Kara Gerhardt Ross

Kara Gerhardt Ross is an accomplished communications professional currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at SAIC since December 2023. In addition to this role, Ross is a member of Chief, a network aimed at empowering women leaders. Prior to SACI, Ross held various senior positions at UPS, including President of International, Executive & Policy Communications, where responsibilities encompassed global communications and public affairs. Ross also founded KGR Public Relations, LLC, leading strategic communications efforts. Earlier in the career, Ross served as Senior Director at Qorvis Communications, Director of Communications and Marketing at ACS Transportation Solutions, Director of Media Relations at the U.S. Department of Transportation, and was Press Advance for the Clinton/Gore Campaign and Midwest Press Secretary at the White House. Ross holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Ohio University and multiple certificates in strategic communications and leadership from prestigious institutions, including Columbia University and Yale School of Management.
