Rich Beaumont

Rich Beaumont is an accomplished technology and engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering & Technology at Sainsbury's since October 2025. Previously, Rich held multiple senior roles at Marks and Spencer from January 2020 to October 2025, including ExCo Business Partner for the Food Group, Chief Technology Officer responsible for various group systems, and Head of Product overseeing M&S Food Technology systems. Rich began a career at Accenture, taking on the role of Senior Manager, and has experience in technology strategy, program management, and solution architecture at notable companies including The Body Shop, New Look, Tesco, and a prior tenure at Sainsbury's. Rich holds a BSc Hons 1st Class in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham.
