Christopher Kantas

Christopher Kantas has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Christopher currently holds the position of Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel, and Vice President at Saint Anthony Hospital, where they oversee clinical service lines and administrative department operations. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director at the Office of Medicare and Medicaid Innovation under the University of Illinois System. Christopher also worked as the Deputy Director at the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services under the State of Illinois. Christopher then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in History at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2003 to 2007. During this time, in 2006, they also studied International Law and Legal Studies at the University of Oxford as part of their program.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Christopher continued their education at the University of Illinois College of Law from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. In 2020, Christopher returned to the University of Illinois, this time attending the University of Illinois Chicago. There, they completed the Core Competencies of the Master of Healthcare Administration Program in 2021, showing their interest in the healthcare field.

Furthermore, during their undergraduate years at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Christopher served as a Research Assistant under the guidance of Professor Vernon Burton, a Distinguished University Scholar who holds positions in the departments of History, Sociology, and African American Studies.
