Maria Malchiondo

Maria Malchiondo, CHRL has over 20 years of work experience in various human resources roles. Maria most recently served as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Saint Elizabeth Health Care, where they provided leadership and guidance in HR. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions and as the Country Human Resources Leader at Aditya Birla Minacs. Maria also has experience as the Director of Human Resources at Kohl & Frisch Limited, where they successfully restructured and improved employee engagement. Maria began their career as a Principal Consultant at PeopleFirst Consulting and as a Human Resources Manager at Procter & Gamble. Throughout their career, Maria has demonstrated expertise in HR policies, employee engagement, and talent management.

Maria Malchiondo, CHRL has a strong education background with a focus on counseling psychology and human resources. Maria obtained a Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Counseling Psychology from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto from 2004 to 2009. In 2002-2003, they completed a Certificate in Human Resources Management from York University. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Occupational and Environmental Health from the University of Toronto in 1990-1991. Maria also holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Human Biology from the University of Toronto - University College, which they obtained from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Maria has acquired various certifications, including Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), Certified AchieveGlobal Leadership Training Facilitator, Certified Crestcomm "Bulletproof Manager" Training Facilitator, Certified DISC Personality Profile Administrator, Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), and Certified Mental Health First Aider.
