Sisandile Thambo

Sisandile Thambo currently serves as the Finance Manager at Saint-Gobain Africa, overseeing the Accounting and Full Finance reporting functions for West African businesses. Responsibilities include business finance controlling, cash management, internal controlling, and compliance while reporting directly to the Managing Director for the finance portfolio. Previously, Sisandile held the role of Africa Internal Audit and Business Control Manager at Saint-Gobain, providing strategic guidance on internal controls. With experience as an Internal Audit Manager and Deployment and Audit Transformation Manager at Deloitte South Africa, along with a role as Treasurer for the Christian Youth Ministry of the Uniting Reformed Church, Sisandile has a solid foundation in finance and auditing. Educational achievements include a Bcom Honours in Accounting from Nelson Mandela University and a Short Course in Advanced Risk Management from the University of Cape Town.
