Yahya Motemani

Yahya Motemani is a seasoned professional in materials and coating technology, currently serving as Group Manager at Saint-Gobain Research Germany since October 2016, overseeing R&D projects in coating and processes. Previous roles include Research Scientist and Lecturer at the Institute of Materials, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, where focus was on developing thin films and coatings for biomedical and energy applications. Early experience includes positions as Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University and University of Tehran, as well as a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University. Yahya Motemani holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, an M.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering, and a B.Sc. in the same field from the University of Tehran.
