Kayla Wyscarver joined Saint Mary's in 2018 as the Head Coach for the School's Cross-Country and Track & Field teams. In January 2019, Ms. Wyscarver became a full-time Instructor of Seminar and a residential faculty member. In this role, she designed the Senior Internship & Capstone Research Projects program for spring semester seniors, a program that is in its fifth year as of 2022.
In 2020, Ms. Wyscarver became the Dorm Head for Cruikshank Hall where she continues to serve. In 2021, She became the Assistant Director of Student and Residential Life, supporting the Student and Residential Life department as the advisor for all student conduct matters and advising the Judicial Board.
In 2022, Ms. Wyscarver was energized to begin teaching full-time again in the Seminar Department as the 11th Grade Team Lead and Faculty Chair of the Judicial Board.
She received a bachelor's degree in education from Ohio University, where she attended on a full athletic scholarship for cross-country and track & field. She earned her M.Ed in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina where she served as a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Student Conduct, Academic Integrity, and the Behavioral Intervention Team.
