Lauren Marquez

Lauren Marquez, instructor of science, joined Saint Mary’s faculty in 2017. She holds a B.S. in biology and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; an MAT in science education from the University of Southern California; and an M.Ed. in bilingual education from Universidad de Alcala de Henares in Madrid, Spain. She worked in Wake County Public Schools for three years and in Madrid, Spain, for the government in bilingual schools teaching both science and English.
