Lorraine Coetzee

Lorraine Coetzee has extensive work experience in human resources and administration. Lorraine is currently the HR Director for EMEA at SAKATA Vegetables Europe S.A.S., starting in 2023. Prior to this, they served as the General Manager of HR and Logistics at Sakata Seed Southern Africa from 2017 to 2023, and as the General Manager of HR and Administration at Sakata Seed South Africa from 2001 to 2017. Lorraine also has experience as a Training Consultant/Facilitator at MaST Namibia in 1999 and as a Contract Lecturer at the Polytechnic of Namibia from 1997 to 1999. Before that, they held positions at Infoplan as a Personnel Officer - Chief Personnel Officer from 1988 to 1996 and at the Department of Home Affairs as an Assistant Personnel Officer in 1988.

Lorraine Coetzee's education history includes several degrees and certifications in the field of business and human resources management. In 1980, they completed their Matric at The Glen High School in Pretoria. Afterward, they attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from 1985 to 1987. In 1988, Lorraine pursued an Honours degree in Business Administration at the same university. Later, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued another Honours degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika.
