Kamen Guentchev

Kamen Guentchev has over 25 years of professional experience in software engineering, project engineering, systems engineering, and algorithm design. In 1994, they started their career as a Graduate Assistant at Michigan State University. In 1998, they became a Principal Engineer at General Inspection LLC, where they were responsible for software development, algorithm design, and systems engineering for MS Windows-based real-time embedded systems. Kamen also conducted research and development, scientific support and conceptual proofs for high-speed laser-imaging inspection systems. In 2002, they joined Motorola as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were involved in systems and application engineering for various projects. In 2003, they began working at KOSTAL Group as a Senior Project Engineer - Electronics, and at SAKOR Technologies Inc. as the Director of Software Engineering. At SAKOR, they led the team in developing complex, multi-function industrial test-automation software platforms, and designed and developed the next generation of the company's flagship software product. Kamen also designed and implemented multiple improvements and extensions into the existing market-leading Test Development and Executive product suite.

Kamen Guentchev obtained their Diplôme de Bachelier de l'Enseignement du Second Degré in Exact sciences - Mathematics and Physics from Lycée Français Guebre-Mariam between 1980 and 1982. Kamen then went on to obtain their Master's Degree in Physics - Astronomy from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski between 1983 and 1989. Finally, they obtained their Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Michigan State University between 1994 and 1998.
